Requisite Exception

Students wanting to enroll in a class using high school credit (for world languages ONLY) or who have not met the prerequisite but have a valid reason to bypass the prerequisite can submit the Requisite Exception Petition. This form is routed to the academic department for review by the Department Chair and Dean. If you are unsure whether to submit a Requisite Clearance or Requisite Exception, please contact Evaluations at evaluations@palomar.edu or 760-744-1150 x2165 for guidance. Submitting the wrong form may result in a delay in processing.

Berkeley transfers in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering/Computer Science

The University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) honor society, Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) wants to extend an invitation to you and your students to connect with current Berkeley transfers in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering/Computer Science. This could be a helpful resource for some of your students to learn more about the CS and EECS programs and what it is like to be a transfer at UC Berkeley.

San Diego Gas & Electric Company has established a scholarship program to assist students who reside within the San Diego Gas & Electric Company’s service territory and plan to continue their education in college while pursuing a STEM-related course of study.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

New Section of CSCI 114 – PROGRAMMING FUNDAMENTALS II Offered in Spring

For those of you who still enjoy programming and are interested in taking CSCI 114 in spring we have added a new section.

Or if you are enrolled online and prefer an on-campus experience, this is the class for you!
It is on-campus at San Marcos, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:50 on Mondays and 7 to 8:20 on Wednesdays.
