High School Articulation

What is Career and Technical Education High School Articulation Credit by Exam?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) High School Articulation Credit by Exam enables high school students enrolled in pre-approved courses to earn Palomar College credit for those courses, as long as the student earns a B or better in the course and passes the course’s final examination (or equivalent project, as determined by the high school and Palomar College). This process enables high school students to simultaneously receive high school and Palomar College credit via credit by exam. By encouraging enrollment in both high school and post-secondary education, CTE high school credit by examination  provides an incentive for students to continue their education, reduces costs to the student and minimizes needless duplication of coursework.
