If you are teaching a CTE Transitions course, you need to complete the following steps:
  • Create your account in CATEMA if you don’t already have one. Your account and/or class will need system administrator approval.(Teacher adds class into CATEMA each year)
  • Guide all your students through enrollment process(to obtain Palomar College ID and open student account in CATEMA )
  • Teacher “Acepts” student enrollments in CATEMA
  • After final exam Teacher logs into CATEMA
    • Assigns course grade
    • Assigns final exam grade
    • Recommends for credit – yes/no
  • College credit is recorded on student’s permanent college transcript for the semester following completion of high school articulated course – noted as “Credit by Exam.”
