Cynthia Claydon-Bond

Cynthia BondCynthia began her academic career here at Palomar College in the Fashion Design program. She earned her AA in Fashion Design, and a BA and MA in Theology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Currently Cynthia is a PhD student at Claremont Graduate University in Religious Studies with an emphasis in women studies in religion and social ethics. Presently Cynthia teaches Costume and Culture in the Fashion Design program here at Palomar College. Her background in multiculturalism, gender studies, and social ethics provides a strong foundation for examination into multiple subcultures that inhabit fashion and culture. Additionally, Cynthia brings a strong emphasis in environmentalism and social justice through the lens of fashion with a conscience.
