News Flash! POD Upgrade and Reorganization
The Palomar Outcomes Database (POD) was reorganized this past summer to improve management of course and program level assessment. The POD software, TracDat, was also upgraded this summer. We've created a POD 2011 Updates Manual to guide you through the database reorganization and to highlight new database features and entry fields. The information in this guide will soon be incorporated into the POD faculty manual listed below.
POD Assistance is Available
The SLO Coordinators are available to assist you and your department in using the POD. Contact learningoutcomeshelp@palomar.edu for an appointment. Training includes writing effective SLOs and assessment plans, entering and editing data into the database, and running reports. For immediate assistance, please consult the resources below:
