The goal for the Mozilla programmers is to deliver Firefox 3.6 by end of year. Today they announced the fifth–and final (?)–beta. The features include:
- 127 bug fixes
- Improved Personas, used to skin firefox as desired
- Tab placement that locates new tabs next to the tab on which the spawing link exists (If you use a lot of tabs this one is really important.)
- A new, improved File Interface for better management of upload/download files. (Also, much needed).
Here are the download links:
Remember, this is a beta, and not recommended for production computers at Palomar College.
