The new Office 2011 for Mac (with (for the first time) Outlook included in the full (but not the student), version) was released last October 26, but I have just now got my hands on it.  Before installing, however, the problem of getting rid of the old version(s) of Office arises.  Just drag it to the trash?  Rather not.  When an official Remove tool exists, why not use it?  It has two strong advantages: The removal tool will find ALL previous versions of Office, not just 2008 while leaving 2004.
