In keeping with our efforts to help faculty prepare for changes in technology before they have to deal with it live in front of their students, we have upgraded the BbSandbox environment here at Palomar to the latest build out from the company, Blackboard Learn 9.1 SP9. Being an odd-numbered service pack, the bulk of the changes in SP9 are of the “bug fix” and “security update” variety, which I won’t bother going into here. Mozilla Releases 5th beta of Firefox 3.6

The goal for the Mozilla programmers is to deliver Firefox 3.6 by end of year.  Today they announced the fifth–and final (?)–beta.  The features include: 127 bug fixes Improved Personas, used to skin firefox as desired Tab placement that locates new tabs next to the tab on which the spawing link exists (If you use a lot of tabs this one is really important.) A new, improved File Interface for better management of upload/download files. (Also, much needed).
