|If you can answer YES to the following questions, you may be eligible to receive $$ for taking classes here at Palomar. I am: 1.) a Child Development Major
2.) taking at least 3 units of Child Development or GE classes (applicable to the permit)
3.) presently working (must be in a paid position, no volunteer) in a licensed child care center, an after-school program, or a licensed family home day care (see Profile for qualifying positions)
4.) complete your class with at least a C or better
You may be ELIGIBLE for $$$!
The Child Development Training Consortium provides funds to reimburse students who meet the guidelines above. All reimbursements will be made after the semester and amounts vary depending on the number of applications/units submitted for the semester. You must be seeking a Child Development Permit in order to qualify for the funds. These funds are only available for the fall and spring semesters.
