Curriculum Welcomes New VP, Instructional Services, Jack Kahn

The Curriculum Committee welcomes new Vice-President of Instructional Services and Curriculum Committee Co-Chair Jack Kahn! Jack was previously Dean of the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He succeeds Dan Sourbeer who served as Interim Vice President of Instructional Services.

Jack has worked with faculty and staff on a variety of college-wide initiatives. He brings a love for innovation and student success to his role as VP and Curriculum Co-Chair. The Curriculum Committee extends Jack a warm welcome!

Curriculum Welcomes New Co-Chair Wendy Nelson

The Curriculum Committee welcomes Wendy Nelson as the new Curriculum Committee Co-Chair! Wendy is an Associate Professor in Media Studies and teaches communication, journalism and public relations courses. She is also the Department Chair of Media Studies. In recent years, she has served as the Learning Outcomes Council Coordinator and was the Faculty Adviser for Palomar’s award winning Newspaper, The Telescope and Impact Magazine.

Wendy has a passion for students and student success. The Curriculum Committee looks forward to continuing its work under her leadership!

Curriculum Welcomes New Co-Chair Jenny Fererro!

The ABCs and 123s of curriculum are nothing new to Palomar’s new Curriculum Committee Co-Chair Jenny Fererro! She has served as Chair of the Child Development Department since fall of 2009 overseeing some of the college’s most challenging curriculum. Jenny brings with her a diverse educational background with unique certifications and teaching experiences as well as an excitement to serve Palomar College. The Curriculum Committee extends Jenny a warm welcome!
