My journey in becoming an instructor did not follow the usual course. I was self-employed for over 25 years and owned and operated three businesses in that time.

I had the opportunity to return to college to finish my degree in History at California State University at San Marcos (CSUSM), where I continued as a grad student and received my Master’s degree in Digital History.

I then served a one year internship with the San Diego Imperial County Community College Association (SDICCCA), working with Professor Bill Jahnel, here at Palomar. I was hired as an Adjunct Professor after the completion of that internship.

I also teach classes at San Diego Miramar College.

Personally, I love History, and very much enjoy teaching it!! I am a single father with two daughters; one is a student here at Palomar.

Please view the next page for my current classes, and links to my syllabi.

Thank you!
