Chief of Police

Hello. My name is Anthony Cruz and I am the interim Chief of Police for the Palomar College Police Department. On behalf of the staff and officers, “Welcome to Palomar College”. The PalomarCollege Police Department is committed to working cooperatively with the Palomar Community College District in support of campus oriented policing activities.

Our partnership includes a problem solving approach with local governments, the community, private groups and concerned individuals such as you. The goal of this partnership is to work together to fight & prevent crime and to improve the quality of life for the students, staff, and visitors of Palomar College. The Core Values or principles upon which we base our policing paradigm are both clear and focused to maintain and allow a safe and secure educational environment to foster student success.
