95 year old mentally bright retired US Navy Captain is searching for live-in caregiver. Duties would include helping him with his daily exercise routine, occasionally prepare his meals, and assist him with his shower. Because the Captain is 95 and physically frail the caregiver must be able to support his 170 lbs. should he start to slip and fall.

Home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood in Escondido with a pleasantly furnished room. This is an excellent work environment affording top pay.

A true love of seniors and a caring heart are must-haves. This would be ideal employment for a nursing student as we could work around the school schedule with an actual work schedule of approximately 5 hours per day. (approximately 15 hours per week)  Opportunity to study or do homework during this 5 hours may be afforded if the Captain is napping. The Captain has several college degrees and will strongly encourage good study habits. He was even teaching the last caregiver how to read the Wall Street Journal and invest in the stock market. (that caregiver was also a full time student.)

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a State required criminal background check and clean DMV. Smoking and Drinking are prohibited. Required three references.

If you are interested please email mailto:JackyeK@sbcglobal.net for an appointment for an interview and complete description of responsibilities. Job available July 1st.  6/28
