ASSISTANT WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST – Leatherman BioConsulting, Inc. is currently looking to fill two Assistant Wildlife Biologist positions. These positions require highly responsible and independent individuals who can work in an outdoor environment. The ability to identify native passerine birds is preferred. Job responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of a Brown-headed Cowbird Trapping Program. Candidates will be required to monitor and maintain cowbird traps and identify and record native and non-native bird captures. Qualified individuals must be able to record accurate data, keep good records, and submit materials in an organized and timely manner. Candidates must have a dependable vehicle, work may include driving on dirt roads. In addition to being paid an hourly rate ($11-$15/hr.), your mileage will be reimbursed. This project is tentatively scheduled between April 1 and June 30. Work days and hours are flexible depending on school schedule, and may include weekends.
