Transferring Coursework To Palomar College
Palomar College has a variety of degree and certificate programs to help you achieve your educational goals. ITT students are advised to get a copy of their transcripts and meet with a counselor or faculty advisor to determine which programs align most closely with any previously completed coursework.
As ITT was not a regionally accredited institution, ITT courses are not articulated with Palomar courses. However, former students may be eligible to request a credit by exam or a pre-requisite waiver to ease their transition to Palomar College.
Admission To Palomar College
Applying to Palomar College is a free and easy process. New students will complete an on-line application and meet with counseling staff to complete their academic planning. Financial aid is available through the Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver program and through state and federal financial aid. More information is available through the following websites:
Information For Veterans
Palomar College offers extensive support services to veterans, active military and their families through the Veteran Resource Center. ITT students can schedule a meeting with a veteran’s counselor to discuss options related to their VA benefits by calling (760) 744-1150 ext. 2173.
ITT students who are veterans are also encouraged to visit the Calfornia Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) website for more information about the GI Bill and the impact of the ITT closure. More information is available at the following websites:
