January 15     Vocal:  Bring sheet music; accompanist will be provided (no a capella); prepare a verse and a chorus

January 16     Dance:  Dress for movement

January 17    Callbacks:  Cold readings from script

Auditions start at 7:00 PM and will be held in the Howard Brubeck Theatre on the campus of Palomar College, 1140 W. Mission Rd, San Marcos, on a first-come first-served basis.

Headshots and resumes are helpful, but not required.

Rehearsals start January 20 and will run M-F from 7:00-10:00 pm.

Performances are on March 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16.

All cast will receive college credit.

 *   Performers interested solely in the roles of Fraulein Schneider and Heir Schultz need only attend vocal auditions and (if called), the callbacks.
*   Dancers with a desire to dance only need to attend the dance auditions and be available (if called) for callbacks.
*   Actors looking for non-singing and dancing roles may audition for these parts at the end of the vocal auditions on Wednesday night and need not attend the dance auditions. Please prepare a one-minute monologue. NB these roles are supporting only.

It is to your advantage to audition for all aspects of the production; failure to do so will severely limit your chances of being cast.

Plain View Theatre  presents a Palomar Theatre Ensemble production of Tennesee Williams’ classic play The Glass Menagerie. The Palomar Theatre Ensemble is a group of passionate Theatre, Dance and Music students from Palomar College whose mission is to give students a chance to independently produce high quality plays from the classics, to contemporaries to original student-written work.
