Ken Bell directs the Palomar/Pacific Coast Concert Band and is a versatile performer with a long history of musical achievement. An experienced bass vocalist, French horn player and early music specialist, Mr. Bell has performed with the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, Musica Sacra, the New England Bach Festival, the Abbey Singers, and was a member of the Waverly Consort. His performances have taken him throughout the Americas, Italy and Spain. Mr. Bell was previously the Concert Band Conductor and French horn instructor at the Armed Forces School of Music in Virginia and is now Assistant Conductor to Dr. David Chase with the La Jolla Symphony Chorus. He has served as the Conductor of the Pacific Coast Concert Band (now Palomar/Pacific Coast Concert Band) since April 1992, and brought that 60+ member group to Palomar College in 2009.
