Mass in G – Palomar Chorale and Chamber Singers/MiraCosta College Masterworks Chorale and Chamber Choir/The Alexandria Strings – May 17

Don’t miss this rare performance as four North County choral groups combine for an invigorating extravaganza! Originally composed in 1815, Franz Schubert’s Mass in G fell into relative obscurity until an expanded version was discovered in the 1980’s. The intensity of this sacred arrangement is mainly found in its simplicity- the modest, personal experiencing of religious contemplation. Works by Schumann, Mozart, and Brahms will also be performed.

Directed by Sally Husch Dean and Dr. Arlie Langager
Saturday, 7pm
Howard Brubeck Theatre
$12 General, $10 Seniors and Staff, $8 Students
