		<description><![CDATA[Palomar Performing Arts will be holding auditions for music ensembles, the Applied Music and Performance Studies program, and three theatre productions (Fall 2013).]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Auditions will be held for the Applied Music and Performance Studies program, as well as for the following ensembles, during the first week of Fall 2013 classes (August): Palomar Chamber Singers, Palomar Chorale, Palomar Symphony Orchestra, Palomar/Pacific Coast Concert Band, Palomar&#8217;s Day and Night Jazz Ensembles, Palomar Brass Ensemble, and Premiere Ensembles. Auditions for theatre productions will also be held before and during the Fall 2013 semester:<em> Rough Magic,</em> <em>Philadelphia Story</em>, and Spring 2014&#8242;s <em>Cabaret</em>.</p>
<p>Check back this summer for full Fall 2013 audition information, including days, times, rooms, and what will be expected.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Concert Hour </strong>is a music enrichment series presented for our students and the community by the Palomar College Performing Arts Department. Concerts take place Thursdays in the Performance Lab (D10). Doors open at 12:20, with seating on a first-come first-served basis. The program begins at 12:30 and ends at 1:20.  At the discretion of the house manager, late arrivals will be admitted during the first performance pause. There is no charge for admission.</p>
<p>Campus police can provide patrons coming from off campus with guest parking passes and give directions to legal parking areas. Patrons are urged to allow sufficient time to secure parking and reach the performance venue before the concert begins.</p>
<p>The next Concert Hour will be held <strong>September 5, 2013</strong>. Full Fall 2013 Concert Hour season information will be posted in August.</p>

Scripts are available at the Palomar Performing Arts Box Office (GJ Building). Please have your script when you arrive at rehearsal on Monday. Regular box office hours are Noon to 4pm Thursday and Friday. For any inquiries, please contact Heather Murray, Box Office Manager, at 760-744-1150 x3049.</p>
<p>If you have any questions about picking up your script or attending rehearsal on Monday you can contact Charmaine Reed, Stage Manager, at 858-472-5520.</p>

<p>Also, please invite your students, friends, and family to come and join us for this discussion, as well as the following evening of thought provoking performance in our theatrical production of John Irving’s The Cider House Rules, Part One. The Coffee Talk is free, and open to the public.</p>
