Rules and Information for Ushers

• Ushers are asked to wear Black and White (black bottoms, white tops) Black Denim Jeans are acceptable, as long as jeans are not worn, free from any holes or tears, and are a solid black color.
• Ushers are asked to arrive to venue one (1) hour prior to curtain, i.e., performance starts at 8:00pm, ushers need to be at the venue no later than 7:00 pm.
• There is no chewing gum, no cell phone or texting use during the event.
• Ushers will be asked to stand for up to 45 minutes at a time.
• The various tasks that might be assigned to ushers for the event are: taking tickets, handing out programs, passing out pre-paid will-call tickets, or assisting with concession stand.
• All ushers will be given an introduction to facility as well as brief instructions on safety practices and standards.
• All ushers will be asked to help with the end of the night clean-up of the venue and will be expected to stay through the entire performance.
• Once all tasks are completed, ushers are free to go.  At that time programs will be signed for any class assignments.
