Composite sketch of sexual assault suspect released

Police released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault that occurred on Palomar’s San Marcos campus Oct. 24.

According to The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department statement, the suspect was not known by the victim and may be a student at Palomar who is in water sports and/or music classes.

The suspect is described as a white male with a possible tan, 19-years-old and said his name was Jeremy, according to police.

The suspect did not have facial hair except stubble on his upper lip. He also had an orange backpack with an orange towel. The suspect does not have a receding hair line as sketched in the photo, according to the statement.
