Bravura, Palomar College’s award-winning annual publication, is asking all writers, photographers and visual
artists to submit their work.
Published each spring, Bravura accepts original work in the form of art, poetry, photography, short stories, cartoons or comics and creative nonfiction. Artists must be current or former students of Palomar College before they can be considered for publication.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finalists for poetry, prose and visual arts in May at the Annual Bravura Gala. The date for the Gala has yet to be announced.
According to Bravura’s online flyer, the magazine is celebrating its 50th anniversary this spring and looking to make the 2014 issue its most impressive yet.
All submissions should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Work can also be submitted directly to Dr. Carlton Smith or Dr. Rocco Versaci, the faculty advisers for the magazine. The deadline is March 3.
