Environmentalism has an Interesting Sense of Humor

Who knew how funny natural selection could be?

Palomar College is hosting a comedy, dubbed Natural Selection ,to promote awareness about today’s contemporary environment at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Howard Brubeck Theatre.

The play, which is directed by Michael Mufson, is about the not so distant future the world is ravished by harsh environmental conditions caused by global warming. In the story, a man named Henry Carson, who is the manager of a theme park called the Culture Fiesta Theme Park, has to search for a Native American to exhibit in the theme park.

There will be other showings of the play on Nov. 2 at 2:00 p.m. and on Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. at the Howard Brubeck Theatre.
