TENNIS
Women’s tennis picked up their third win of the season on Tuesday, March 3rd with a 6-3 team win over Imperial Valley College at El Centro while the men had a commanding, 9-0 win over Imperial Valley at Palomar for their third win of the season as well. Both squads play Grossmont College at 2 p.m. on Thursday with the men hosting the Griffins in San Marcos and the women’s team traveling out to El Cajon.

BASEBALL
 
Men’s baseball will have to wait until Friday to continue their campaign as Myers Field was deemed unplayable for Tuesday’s game against Mt. San Jacinto after Monday’s rare weather. The Comet’s are ranked No. 2 in the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s Southern California poll released Tuesday, trailing only No. 1 ranked Fullerton College. On a larger scale, Palomar is fourth the American Baseball Coaches Association’s Pacific Division poll.  Expect the (12-3) Comets to continue their fine run of form at Myers Field on Friday at 2 p.m. as they host the (4-11) Eagles.
