Anatomical Mnemonics

Mnemosyne was a Greek goddess of memory. Mnemonics are simple memory devices to assist you in remembering things. The mnemonic typically uses the first letter of each of the words you are trying to remember and makes some nonesense phrase or imaage. Some of these listed below are "classics" and are provided as examples. The first one is an example of one that I made up because it created an easily recalled visual image. In general, those that you create for yourself are the most useful.
