These terms and conditions, taken together with the syllabus constitute a contract between you and me.  My expectation is that you will work as hard as a student as I do as your professor.  Together we will be prepared for class so that we can get the maximum amount of learning from the interaction.

Course  Standards:

1. Students caught cheating or plagiarizing will be dropped from the course.

2. Students engaging in harassing or disruptive behavior will be dropped from the course.

3. Poor grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation will result in the loss of one grade (ie.: A>B, B>C, C>D, D>F).

4.  Students are expected to keep a complete copy of all work for their own files. Late work may be rejected.  All submission links close at the end of the day on the due date.  For example, the link to Exam 1 will vanish after the exam period has ended so it will no longer be available to you.

5. All students are expected to maintain an accurate email address in Blackboard and in E-services.  They must also post an introduction to the discussion board in Blackboard and take a pre-test by the deadline. Students who miss these initial deadlines and do not maintain active email addresses (two email bounce-backs) will be dropped from the course.

6. I don't give make-up tests without a written doctor's note.  Online students should plan to take your tests several days in advance of the final date to avoid having mechanical failure play havoc with your grade.
