Oh! Oh! MEXICO!

Mexico is the "Mother Culture" of Native cultures in North America.  The notable exception is the Arctic, but elsewhere many things derive from there.  The influences of Mexico were felt all the way down to Costa Rica, and all the way up into New York State.  The influences were weakly felt in the forests of the Northwest Coast and were especially strongly felt in the lower Mississippi River Valley, the Southwest, and California.
