The patination on this rock has continued to accumulate after the pecking of the cactus form visible here. This cactus must be very old becasue of a dark layer of manganese and iron oxides has accumulated on the cactus since it was first pecked into the rock surface.
These images called shamans' bags are more recent because they have not accumulated much of a coat of desert varnish since they were pecked.
