Teaching Methods

• Teaching Techniques:
  1. Lecture / Discussion with Overhead Transparencies
  2. Some Infrequent Break-out Group Discussion (however, this normally does not occur until a class possesses a knowledge of the essential basics)
  3. Videos Covering Current Events and Real-Life Applications of Theory Discussed in Class
  4. Lab Courses Are Hands-on with Lecture Interspersed Periodically
• Student Evaluation Involves:
  1. Graded Exercises and Problems
  2. Research Projects
  3. Announced Quizzes (no make-ups, but the low quiz score for the semester will be dropped)
  4. Multi-Chapter Exams
  5. Comprehensive Exams
  6. Student Attendance (if you are not in class you can neither benefit from the experiences of others or provide others with the benefit of your experiences)
  7. Completion of All Assignments in a Timely Manner (in the business world, time is money and/or opportunity loss)
