FINAL EXAM TIME
The class has decided to have the final exam go from 8:00am to 9:15am on Thursday, May 17th in the planetarium.  After the exam I will give a planetarium show until 9:50am.  Once you finish the exam you may go outside.  I will unlock the doors at about 9:05 to let you in and lock them when everyone is inside for the show. 

QUIZ #6
Since the class did so poorly on quiz #5 (many of you did not study), the last quiz, which is a take-home quiz, will be to study.  You are to write or type your answers to the some of  the Review Questions at the end of the Sections.  Under "Text Links" is Quiz #6.  It lists the sections and the questions to be answered for each section.  This quiz is due when you take the Final Exam on Monday, May 14th.

GRADE SYSTEM REMINDER
Those student who have missed three or more quizzes have failed the course and may not take the final exam.

RESEARCH PAPERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, MAY 10TH AT 12:30PM.
Make sure that you have followed the Guidelines exactly.  If you are unsure of what is expected in any part of the Guidelines, please see me.

BORROWED TEXTBOOKS
If you have checked out a textbook from the department, they must be returned when you take the final exam or no later than a week after the exam.  It the book is not returned, a HOLD will be place on your record.

FINAL EXAM
The Final Exam will be on Thursday, May 17th at 8:00am.  Since it is in the planetarium you cannot be late.  The format of the exam is identical to the Mid-Term Exam.  The final exam will cover the material in the Study Guide from Section X. through XXII.  Section XXI., Star Clusters, is just a description of the two types and XXII., The Galaxy, we have covered in class.  You will need a half sheet scantron and a #2 pencil.  The essay question is below under "Text Links".
