Introduction to Psychology
Welcome to this class.
An
optional
on-campus orientation will be held If this is your first online class, I HIGHLY suggest you attend this orientation.
Please note that this is NOT a self-paced online class. A schedule is posted and you are expected to meet the deadlines/due dates for weekly quizzes, discussion board posts, and assignments.
On-line classes "meet" entirely online and can
be assessed 7/24 from anywhere. The only on-campus meetings are an
orientation and the two exams (see above). Yet they
are different from face-to-face classes
in another way; that is, you as the student have to take more
responsibility for learning the course material; you must be more
motivated, more organized, and more self-disciplined than if you were
taking a class on campus.
I will open up our Blackboard site on Tuesday morning Jan 17. To access our site, go to the Palomar web home page http://www.palomar.edu and click on Online Students which is found at the top of the page. That will bring you to the Login screen. Click on Login. If this is your first online class before clicking Login, click on Students; this will bring to a short tutorial on what is your username and password.

I do not care which "format" of text
you use (hardback, soft cover, etc) as long as it is the 9th edition.
