Note on Plagiarism
(From: http://www.rbs2.com/plag.htm)
"When using another person's words, to avoid plagiarism one must always
do both of the following:
- provide a citation,
either in the text or in a footnote, and
- either enclose
their words inside quotation marks or put their words in a block of indented,
single-spaced text."
Make sure you give
proper credit to the original sources. You wouldn't believe how easy it is to
find out if a student is plagiarizing someone else's work. There is specific
software made for such a task.
