Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology M/W 1200 - 1320 NS-138 Lecture

Introduction to Anatomy and Physiolgy as taught at Palomar College consists of 3 hours per week of lecture and 6 hours per week of laboratory.  The lecture portion of the course addresses anatomy and physiology using the systems approach.  The laboratory associated with this course is taught as a separate section and students may enroll after or concurrent to this lecture section. The laboratory section is t is currently offerred at our Escondido campus . This course, as indicated by the course number level 100 is designed for the entry level science student, and NOT for the more advanced student with basic biological and chemical backgrounds. It DOES NOT meets the physiology requirement for entry into the Palomar College Nursing Program. Instead, it IS designed to meet the requirements of those students whose interest is in EMS, Paramedic and other similar programs.
