Timber Frame Project 2004 – Day 7
Change of instructors today. Also brought a slight change in philosophy…but the end goal is to make a wonderful Timber Frame structure. Same tools are being used…some waiting in line for specialized tools, but plenty of work to do. Lots of work being done on cutting mortises and tenons in posts and bracing. From the amount of timbers left to work on, it seems like we’ll never make it in time for Saturday’s raising…but we will make it (with lots of hard work). Overheard Chris say that we’ll start taking materials out to the Museum Thursday.
