SNAP Apparel FAQ’s:

Q: When can I place an order?

A: Orders can be placed with Han(SNAP VP) at all meetings and most events. The schedule is posted on the SNAP website under the tab “Events”. You can also place your order in the SNAP drop box upstairs at the Nursing Department door, but we stress this is at your own risk. We do two bulk orders a semester.


Q: Why does SNAP not accept debit card/credit card/check/venmo?

A: The cash only policy is made by the school and is unfortunately something we cannot currently adjust. Although we have made recent changes to make your orders safer. For example, you can order in person with Han and receive a receipt instead of all orders and cash being put into the SNAP drop box.


Q: The apparel seems kinda expensive and I don’t want to wait for it. Maybe I could go get mine done out in town on my own?

A: This is something we kindly ask you not to do. We charge a small processing fee for each item of apparel that goes back into the events of SNAP that you directly benefit from and most importantly, into your pinning ceremony.


Q: Can I return my order if it doesn’t fit/wasn’t what I expected?

A: Unfortunately, no. All orders are final. The ONLY exception to this rule is if you received a different size/color/garment than you ordered, or if there is an issue with the printing. All issues need to be addressed directly to Han within seven days of receiving your apparel. Regarding sizes, we recommend ordering a size up on Ladies V-neck Tees and Hoodies.


Q: Is the apparel true to size?

A: We were coached by the vendor to stress ordering a size up on Ladies V-neck Tees and Hoodies. Remember that it is better to have something too big that you can potentially shrink than something too small that you can’t ever wear and enjoy.


Q: When can I expect to receive my order?

A: You can expect to receive your order within about 3 weeks from the deadline.


Q: Are there any discounts for apparel?

A: Yes! We reward our SNAP members for participation. You will receive a 5% off coupon for attending meetings and a 10% off coupon for attending events. One coupon can be used per order and cannot be transferred to other students.


Q: What if I lose my coupon?

A: We keep a detailed log on who receives coupons. If you lost yours, let Han know when you place your order and he can look it up.


Q: Are the seasonal colors really seasonal?

A:  Yes. The colors that have been deemed seasonal on the apparel order form will become unavailable after the Fall semester and replaced with other seasonal colors in the Spring semester. Get them while you can!
