Hello parents my name is Shelbi Morales and I have been working with children here at the Palomar College ECE-LS for almost ten years and I have a BA in Human Development from CSUSM. I enjoy my work very much because I am able won’t watch these little minds in action as they grow, learning new things on a daily basis. I find children to be very smart, funny and each one unique so being around them everyday is a blessing. I am so lucky to be your child’s teacher, thank you for allowing me the pleasure.

When I am not at work I get to spend time with my fiancé Casey, our beautiful son Oliver and our two puppies. I play soccer on the weekends and enjoy hiking and going to the desert in the winter time.

Since I was younger I wanted to be a teacher. I knew I wanted to work with children. I love helping them achieve their goals. The happiness they bring is priceless.

I live in Oceanside with my husband and our two daughters; Jayleen and Melody. I’ve been working for Palomar College for 11 years, it’s like my second home. I have an AA degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Social Behavioral Sciences, as well as my California teaching permit.

I enjoy being around children and observe them grow in every aspect. It is such a rewarding feeling to know I can contribute to make a positive impact in a human being.

Every day is a learning experience in which not only they learn from us, we also get to learn so much from them. I love the special things they do and say every day, it makes my day!

I graduated from Palomar College a few years ago and obtained two AA degrees in Early Childhood Education and my California Master Teacher Permit.

I come from a traditional Mexican family that includes my parents, two brothers, my twin sister and our two dogs. I enjoy reading books, cleaning, watching movies and working out in my spare time.
