This grant supports low income/one-income families, who have one or more children at the Palomar College ECELS. The child’s parent must be an essential worker. Due to a COVID-19 quarantine situation at the ECELS, the parent finds themselves in a position of being quarantined with their ECELS child. The parent has no paid time off and/or other financial hardship. Grants will be awarded based on the number of days in quarantine, full or part-time enrollment status at the ECELS, and child’s age. The maximum award amount is $400.
- CDC’s Developmental Milestones
Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving “bye-bye” are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move (crawling, walking, etc.). On the CDC’s developmental milestones page, you can click on the age of your child to see the milestones they should be achieving.
