Public Hearing Notice: Palomar Community College District Governing Board Transition from an At-Large Method of Elections to a By-Trustee Area Method of Elections

The Palomar Community College District Governing Board passed Board RESOLUTION NO. 18-21550 at the January 8, 2019 regular Governing Board meeting. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of two public hearings to be held on Sat., Feb. 2 at two locations: Fallbrook Education Center, Bldg. I (I-01) at 12 noon, 35090 Horse Rancho Creek Road, Fallbrook, CA 92028; and Escondido Education Center, at 3 p.m., 1951 E. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027, to receive public comments regarding the transition from an At-Large Method of Elections for Governing Board to a By-Trustee Area Method of Elections, composition of Trustee areas, and the composition of the Trustee Area Plan as a whole. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of two public hearings to be held on Sat., Jan. 26 at two locations: 11 a.m. at San Marcos campus, Governing Board Room, 1140 W Mission Road, San Marcos; and 1 p.m. at the Rancho Bernardo South Education Center, Community Room, 11111 Rancho Bernardo Road, San Diego, to receive public comments regarding the transition from an At-Large Method of Elections for Governing Board to a By-Trustee Area Method of Elections, composition of Trustee areas, and the composition of the Trustee Area Plan as a whole. Notificación de audiencia pública: La junta directiva del distrito de Palomar Community College hace la transición de un método de elecciones generales a un método de elecciones por área de miembro La junta directiva de Palomar Community College aprobó la RESOLUCIÓN No 18-21550 el 8 de enero de 2019 en una reunión ordinaria de la junta directiva. POR EL PRESENTE AVISO SE NOTIFICA de dos audiencias públicas que se celebrarán el sábado 26 de enero en dos ubicaciones: a las 11 a.m. en la sala de la junta directiva del campus de San Marcos, en 1140 W Mission Road, San Marcos; y a la 1 p.m. en la sala comunitaria del Rancho Bernardo South Education Center, en 11111 Rancho Bernardo Road, San Diego, para recibir comentarios públicos en relación a la transición del método de elecciones generales para la junta directiva al método de elecciones por área de miembro, y la composición del plan de área de miembros en su totalidad.
