What is Econ 101?
At Palomar, Econ 101 covers what is known as macroeconomics (the “big picture” of our economy). Macroeconomics topics include such things as inflation, unemployment, the gross domestic product (GDP), aggregate demand and aggregate supply, and more. If you’ve ever wondered how our money works (it’s essentially worthless paper, after all) or how the government decides to change taxes or allocate their spending, then this class is for you!
