The Philosophy Department is inviting you to an information session on earning your transfer degree in philosophy next Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 5:30 PM in MD-206.
Who should attend?
All declared Philosophy transfers, anyone who has taken at least two philosophy courses, anyone who is in their first philosophy class and finds philosophy interesting, fun, challenging, and/or exciting.
Why should you attend?
- You will learn how philosophy can benefit you academically and professionally.
- Navigating course enrollment for transfer can be complex. Counselors do not always know how to guide you through the transfer process. We do, and we will help!
- You will receive first-hand information from the department on requirements for the transfer degree, learn about upcoming courses, and understand how to complete the transfer degree in a timely fashion.
- It is fun to meet other people interested in philosophy.
- There will be snacks!
