Free Flu Shots for Students

Palomar College Student Health Centers are offering free flu shots to all students starting September 16th. Please schedule an appointment to avoid wait times by contacting the Student Health Center: (760) 891-7530. Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to protect yourself and your family from flu and its potentially serious complications. CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated by the end of October.

Mindfulness, Meditation, and Relaxation Strategies

Please join Dr. Patrick Savaiano, Assistant Director of Behavioral Health Counseling Services, for an introduction to mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation strategies. Patrick has more than 10 years of experience both practicing and teaching mindfulness principles and exercises. These techniques have been shown to enhance wellness, improve relationships, mitigate stress, reduce anxiety, and alleviate symptoms of depression.
