Latinx Heritage Month

Save the Dates! The Multicultural Studies Department invites all students to join us in celebrating Latinx Heritage Month. Latinx Heritage Month is a celebration of recognizing and honoring Latinx peoples contributions, cultures, and histories. Students will be able to enrich their knowledge of their ancestors from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. We will be hosting various events starting in September until November. We look forward to seeing you there!

Exploring Darwin Conference

EXPLORING DARWIN is a conference on how Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection applies to a wide variety of natural and social sciences.  Exploring Darwin will take place on Tues-Wed, November 7-8, 2017. Talks are at 9:35, 11:10, 12:45 and 2:20 in the Howard Brubeck Theatre at Palomar College. This event is open to the Public.  Faculty members are encouraged to bring their classes or provide extra credit assignments for attending students.  Sign-in sheets will keep track of attending students.
