The Palomar College Chamber Singers and Palomar Chorale invite you to join us for the release of two virtual choir performances, with introductions by Palomar’s Director of Choral and Vocal Studies, John K. Russell. Dr. Russell will talk about the process of creating choral music in the virtual environment, how the choirs at Palomar are adapting to singing remotely, and speak about each of the works chosen for this performance. The two compositions, recorded by the Chamber Singers for this concert are Madelena Casulana’s beautiful Madrigal Morir non può il mio cuore (My heart cannot die) and Carlos Simon’s setting of Sanctus.
