The Weller/Soto Quartet

September 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PDT
Zoom CA United States
free

“The Weller/Soto Quartet exploded onto the local jazz scene in November of 2019 with an electrifying debut performance at Dizzy’s Jazz Club in San Diego. Multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and multi-gender – the Weller/Soto Quartet is as diverse as they come. It is largely thanks to this diversity of spirit and life experience that the quartet has cultivated a musical identity that is uniquely their own. Consisting of jazz great Bob Weller on piano, emerging tenor saxophonist Dylan Soto, stalwart bassist Kyle Bayquen, and drum phenom Joannah Sy, the Weller/Soto Quartet is the perfect marriage of four unique voices to create one unforgettable musical presence. Although their journey together has only just begun, the future holds nothing but promise for the most thrilling new addition to the San Diego jazz scene.”
