Looking for a C++ Programer with Arduino experience for a local project

We are looking for an experienced local individual who knows C++ programming language and hopefully also has experience with Arduino to help us finish up a construction project we are trying to finish.

We developed a software driven Panel Lamination Machine (PLM). The Controller of the machine is running under C++ on a touch-screen driven Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller.

The Controller is updated by a web server using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)

We have a programmer who wrote the software and designed the configuration. Now we are looking for a programmer who can make minor modifications on the software on an as-needed basis we are locking for an C++ programmer. Some familiarity with Arduino microcontrollers and web server technology would be an advantage.

As it is ultimately necessary that the programmer familiarizes himself with the existing software and system configuration we have attached the software flowchart and a configuration diagram. Upon request we can attach the .cpp files and the associated help files into Dropbox.

Thank you please let us know if any of you would like to discuss further or if you could recommend somebody for us to talk to.

I have attached a set of the flowcharts so you can take a look.

Cheers and we look forward to hearing from you.

R&D Internship Challenge – for Students & Local Industry

*Student Information Session TONIGHT (Thursday, Dec. 13), at 6:00 PM @Open Source Maker Lab*

Obtaining a certificate or degree is an essential step for most STEM career positions. However, there are many soft and hard skills required to be successful in these career paths that are not addressed within academic curricula. Additionally, finding an internship that provides one with an opportunity to gain these skills, is suitably challenging, emphasizes group work and collaboration, and allows the student to have one-on-one mentoring time can be difficult.

Open Source Maker Lab (OSML)is now offering a challenge-based internship program in collaboration with Palomar and Mira Costa Colleges, where candidates work in multidisciplinary teams to solve real-world problems with hard constraints in an industrial work environment. Candidates will work to solve a technical problem which may have a wide range of innovative solutions, will have access to mentors and resources, and will be able to interact directly with local hiring companies. Unlike traditional internships, participants will interact with multiple hiring companies, resulting in a greater hiring potential. Participants will work on building their resume with hard & soft skills and hands on experience while applying their academic foundation to produce a solution to the challenge problem. Individuals will gain both technical and career mentoring, letters of recommendation, and work study credit.
