WANTED: Computer Science STEM Volunteers Teaching Coding/Programming

I would like to introduce myself and IT Computer Wiz Kids learning program. The concept of Wiz Kids is new to San Diego, but it had incredible success in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland with the backing of Georgetown University and Howard University. Since January 2009 the Wiz Kids’ program has established computer learning labs from the ground up in socio-economically diverse communities. We worked with youth whose knowledge ranged from those who were passionate about technology to those who had never before touched the inside of a computer.

We are looking for student volunteers and also Summer interns to help with our after school program currently presented at the Poway Library. The attached flyer describes the ideal student we are looking for.
