San Diego County Paramedic Accreditation

IMPORTANT:

Due to the COVID-19 emergency situation affecting colleges/schools, our San Diego County Paramedic Accreditation workshop will be taught through an online platform (ZOOM). Please make sure you are familiar with Zoom and have it downloaded prior to the date of the Zoom workshop. The instructor will reach out to you with more information a week before the workshop date and he/she will send you the ZOOM link to the course. The workshop will be 2-4 hours depending on how many students are signed up.

Unfortunately at this time, you cannot attend the workshop if you are not hired or employed by an agency in San Diego County. Due to COVID-19, we cannot host our regular accreditation workshop in a face to face format.  The approval we received from the county is based on the agencies administering the exams and the “face to face” would be conducted via Zoom by Palomar College EME. Once you have completed the ZOOM workshop, we will send your employer information on how to administered the exams.

Thank you for your interest in our Accreditation Workshop

The workshop is intended for paramedics who have been originally trained and/or certified outside of San Diego County, including those trained outside of California. The workshop is held at the Palomar College Escondido Education Center. If interested, click on the link below and complete the online application
