  • Job Title: Federal Work Study – Graphics Lab Assistant (Ongoing position)
    Location: Palomar College, MD Building, San Marcos Campus
    Job Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of at least one of the listed graphic software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut or Motion.
    Duties: Instruct students in the proper operation of computer equipment. Maintain discipline in the labs. Report any unusual situation or problem to staff or faculty. Work on Department projects.
    Total hours per week: 20
    Work schedule: TBA
    Wage: $12.00, $14.00, or $16.00 per hour depending on experience.

    3. Good communication skills.
    Duties:
    1. Assist students and faculty in printing a variety of graphic art productions. Printed materials including but not limited to posters, labels, calendar, brochures, flyers, and T-shirt transfers. 2. Communicate with students and faculty regarding the outputs.
    Total hours per week: 10-20

1. Preflight Specialist:

Requirements: Basic knowledge using adobe Illustrator
Platforms: Mac and PC
Plus: Detail oriented, Reliable, Open to learn, Computer savvy, Bilingual(Spanish).
Pay Range: $12-15 DOE
Type: Full-time
Time: 7am-4pm

2. Print Operator:

I am looking to hire an experienced print operator. Must have worked on large format printers such as Mimaki, Mutoh, or Roland. We have a high-volume printing facility that requires someone with good organizational skills and attention to details. Must be reliable and of the highest integrity.
This position is full-time and long term. We will train the right person. Hours are from 7am-3:30pm and occasional overtime. Benefits include three paid sick days, ten paid holidays, one-week vacation, bonus potential, and more.
