Your eServices number is required to check out library materials. Palomar students have reciprocal borrowing privileges at MiraCosta College and Cal State San Marcos. A Palomar Identification Card is required to check out materials from these institutions.
Reciprocal Borrowing Privileges
Palomar College students and staff may borrow books from California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM) and Mira Costa College (MCC) Libraries, and students and staff from CSUSM and MCC may borrow books from Palomar College Library.
Palomar students and staff:
- To borrow materials from CSUSM you must go to the CSUSM Kellogg Library in person and present a current and valid Palomar College Activity Card (Student ID) to register.
- To borrow materials from MCC, you must go to an MCC Library (Oceanside, San Elijo or Community Learning Center) in person and present a current and valid Palomar College Activity Card (Student ID) to register (note: the borrowing of art works is reserved for MCC staff and students currently registered in MCC credit classes).
CSUSM and MCC Students:
- To borrow materials at Palomar College, you must come to either the Palomar College San Marcos Campus Library or any of the Center Libraries to register. NOTE: you must bring and show a valid photo ID in order to register.
All other persons who are 18 years old or older may register with the Library as a “Community Patron” to borrow materials. A valid government issued photo ID such as a valid driver’s license, California ID card, Resident Alien card, military ID card or passport and proof of current mailing address is required. A Community Patron who has fines may have their borrowing privileges suspended. Please contact the Library Circulation Desk for further information at (760) 744-1150 x2614.
