The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center (located in Balboa Park – San Diego) hosts several activities each month that qualify for extra credit for the Astronomy 100 section.
Each activity is worth HALF of your possible extra-credit points. These activities are listed below:

1. Planetarium Shows
These shows will take you on a visual tour of this month’s evening sky, discussing many of the fascinating celestial objects visible. Click here for more information on ticket prices and times. VALUE: 1.5% extra credit
2. IMAX films
IF there is an IMAX film playing that is astronomically oriented or is directly related to astronomy, then you can earn credit by attending the movie. PLEASE NOTE: Touring the Science Center DOES NOT QUALIFY for extra credit! VALUE: 1.5% extra credit

How to earn your extra credit:
Credit will only be given upon presentation of your ticket stub and a report (one FULL page typed, double spaced) describing your experience. NO EXCEPTIONS!
