Peter Sprague, guitar/composer With his thirty-plus years as a professional musician, Peter has evolved into a musical powerhouse, having produced and/or played on over 300 recordings. He has published eleven songbooks of his own music. Peter conducts the majority of his endeavors in Southern California, staying close to his family, and where he is, without dispute, San Diego’s premier jazz talent. He has won numerous awards for his artistry including Best Jazz Artist for San Diego. He has worked with some of the greats: Dianna Reeves, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, David Benoit, Billy Childs, and many others too numerous to count.

Saxophonist and conductor Andrew R. Steinberg has been recognized for his “beautiful tone” as well as his “astute and refined leadership” throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. As an Aaron Copland Fund for Music grantee, Dr. Steinberg has commissioned over a dozen works for saxophone and has premiered countless more for the instrument.
A Wrinkle in Time is the time bending, multi-dimensional story of Meg Murry, a high-school-aged girl who is transported on an adventure through time and space with her younger brother Charles Wallace and her friend Calvin O'Keefe to rescue her father, a gifted scientist, from the evil forces that hold him prisoner on another planet and threaten to overtake the universe with darkness. This compact, one-hour version captures the thrill and essence of the story in a format that is excellent for live theatre on Zoom.
Ten years ago, Caro Pierotto took a big chance. She put everything on the line in what turned out to be one of those fairy tale stories that Hollywood dreams are made of. It all began when she ditched a steady corporate paycheck, left behind family and friends, and traded her native Brazil for Los Angeles. Caro had it in her heart to write her own songs and to sing and perform. She put together a band, called it Marbella, and with the help of Latin Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Alberto Lopez released Volta ao Mundo.
Concert pianist Vania Pimentel, born and raised in Brazil, has been promoting Brazilian music in creative recital programs. She has a BA in Music and another BA in Philosophy from Brazil, KA graduate artist diploma from Germany, Masters in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and DMA from the University of Houston. Her doctoral dissertation was on Brazilian toccatas, and her CD “Brazilian Toccatas and Toccatinas” was praised by the Brazilian Academy of Music and newspaper critics in Rio de Janeiro.
